Sunday Raspberry for Branding and Creative Projects

There’s something about starting a new project that feels like opening a blank canvas—especially when you're designing a brand from scratch. I was recently tasked with creating a visual identity for a small artisanal coffee shop called "Morning Brew," and the first thing I did was test out Sunday Raspberry, a cute and neat display font, to see how it would fit into the brand’s personality.

Sunday Raspberry in Logo Design for a Café Brand

As I began sketching the logo mockups, Sunday Raspberry stood out for its soft curves and playful yet professional look. It felt just right for a café that wanted to be approachable but still maintain a sense of quality. The font’s rounded edges gave the logo a friendly vibe, while the clean lines kept it from feeling too childish. I placed it on a simple circle with a coffee cup icon, and it immediately felt like a natural fit.

What I loved most was how Sunday Raspberry balanced cuteness with readability. Even at smaller sizes, it didn’t lose its charm, which is crucial for logos that appear on business cards, signage, and social media profiles. It wasn’t too whimsical to feel unprofessional, nor was it too formal to lose the brand’s warmth.

Sunday Raspberry for Headlines in Editorial Design

Next, I moved on to the branding materials—posters, flyers, and menu designs. For the poster promoting the café’s grand opening, I used Sunday Raspberry as the headline font. Paired with a clean sans-serif typeface for body text, the contrast worked well to guide the reader’s eye from the bold title to the detailed information below.

The font’s subtle serifs added character without overwhelming the design. It had a modern typography feel that complemented the café’s minimalist interior aesthetic. I even tested it on a few variations—light, regular, and bold weights—and found that each weight maintained the same visual consistency, making it easy to use across different elements of the brand system.

Sunday Raspberry in Packaging Design for Merchandise

When designing packaging for the café’s branded merchandise—like mugs and tote bags—I needed a font that could handle both short-form text and longer product descriptions. Sunday Raspberry proved to be a great choice for the main titles on the packaging, especially when paired with a complementary serif font for the supporting text.

One thing I noticed was how well Sunday Raspberry looked on printed materials. Its crisp lines and even spacing made it ideal for labels and stickers, where clarity is key. It also translated well to digital formats, appearing sharp on website headers and social media banners.

Sunday Raspberry for Social Media Graphics and Digital Marketing

For the café’s Instagram posts and promotional emails, I wanted a font that would stand out but not clash with the overall brand tone. Sunday Raspberry was perfect for headlines in these contexts. Whether it was a post about their new seasonal drink or an event announcement, the font helped create a cohesive visual language across platforms.

I experimented with using Sunday Raspberry in combination with other fonts, and found that it worked particularly well with modern typography styles. Pairing it with a sleek sans-serif for body copy created a nice balance between playfulness and professionalism.

Sunday Raspberry in Brand Identity for a Handmade Shop

In another project, I used Sunday Raspberry for a handmade soap company that wanted to convey a sense of care and creativity. The font’s neatness aligned with the brand’s attention to detail, while its cuteness reflected the handcrafted nature of the products.

On the packaging, I used Sunday Raspberry for the product names and paired it with a script font for the taglines. This combination felt authentic and personal, which resonated well with the target audience. It also helped differentiate the brand from competitors who used more generic or overly stylized fonts.

Sunday Raspberry for Web Headers and Digital Templates

When working on the café’s website, I integrated Sunday Raspberry into the header section. It provided a strong visual anchor for the homepage, drawing attention to the brand name and key messages. I also used it in call-to-action buttons and feature sections, where its display font characteristics made it ideal for highlighting important content.

Its versatility allowed me to use it across multiple digital templates, from landing pages to email newsletters. I appreciated that it didn’t require any special formatting to look good on screen, which saved time during the development phase.

Sunday Raspberry in Poster and Event Design

For an upcoming music festival that the café was sponsoring, I designed a promotional poster using Sunday Raspberry as the primary font. The font’s neatness and cuteness gave the poster a fresh, youthful energy that matched the event’s vibe. It worked especially well in large formats, where the details of the font were visible without being overwhelming.

I also used Sunday Raspberry in the event’s program booklet and ticket designs. Its ability to maintain readability across different sizes and mediums made it a reliable choice for all types of print and digital assets.

If you’re looking for a display font that brings personality to your brand without sacrificing professionalism, Sunday Raspberry is definitely worth testing. Whether it's for logotype, headlines, posters, or digital graphics, this font offers a unique blend of style and functionality that can elevate any creative project.
